In the heart of the largest castles of the Loire, in a green setting named Le Verger des Châteaux, nestle La Maison La Rose (2 adults) and its Pavillon Les Nymphéas (2 adults), quiet opposite the thousand-year-old Pontlevoy Abbey.
The walled orchard is home to numerous fruit trees (apple, plum, cherry, fig, olive, kiwi, etc.) and many other trees and plants as well as a pond with water lilies and papyrus. It therefore offers a wide choice of relaxation areas. From May to September, there is a heated saltwater swimming pool available in a separate portion of the garden, which can be enjoyed both in the sun and under a shaded mulberry tree.

Le Verger des Châteaux is located in the charming village of Pontlevoy (1,600 inhabitants), with its thousand-year-old abbey and its pretty white tuffeau houses, in the department of Loir et Cher (41) in the Centre-Val de Loire region, between the Loire and Cher, 26km south of Blois, 50km from Tours and 210km from PARIS.
Discover the village of Pontlevoy through a walk of around an hour and a half, discovering its natural and built heritage and the twenty-five panels of the “Museum in the Street” revealing daily life in Pontlevoy at the beginning of the 20th century , thanks to a selection from the Clergeau collection, Pontilévien photographer, author of more than 10,000 photos.

Maison La Rose can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 3 years old. On 75 m2, it includes on the ground floor a large kitchen/dining room supplemented by a comfortable living room and an entrance. Upstairs, a large bright bedroom, a large shower room and WC.
Annex “Pavillon les Nymphéas”
Located in front of Maison La Rose in the courtyard, it is completely independent and situated on one level. It cannot be rented independently of La Maison la Rose.
La Maison La Rose and its Pavillon les Nymphéas can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children (under 3 years old) with different combinations: 2 couples of friends or 1 couple with grown-up children, or 1 couple with parents and friends… preserving the independence of each and also allowing everyone to come together.

At Le Verger des Châteaux everything is simple for traveling by bike, you can have your bikes delivered or pick them up at Onzain train station where I will be happy to come and pick you up at Onzain/Chaumont station (15km) from Paris Montparnasse or Austerlitz.
All you have to do is explore the cycle paths of the Loire by Bike. All major tourist attractions can be reached in less than 2 hours by bike. I provide you with a bicycle shelter. Essential shops are in the village of Pontlevoy.
